Product Owner Finance role acts as the business partner for Finance domain as the IT first touch point. He/she will act as product owner to all Fin related products/projects to collect the requirements and provide with the best fit solutions by working closely with relevant stakeholders and internal product teams, and is accountable for full life-cycle of IT solutions/products in the Fin domain.
Key Tasks:
- Collaborate closely with FIN departments to gain a deep understanding of their business processes, pain points, future development plans, and potential improvements.
- Act as Product Owner for FIN domain. Manage product life-cycle, from conceptual to deliver to launch, and make continuous improvement in line with overall portfolio strategy.
- Develop/communicate the product vision&roadmap to all relevant stakeholders, create/prioritize the product backlog, ensure team focuses on highest value features and meet cross-functional requirements
- Identify and understand business needs & pain points, conduct functional requirement analysis, model business and create requirements document.
- Collaborate with IT teams to develop and implement technology solutions that address identified business needs.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of IT projects, ensuring they meet business requirements and deadlines.
- Provide training and ongoing support to business users to ensure they can effectively utilize new technology solutions.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks associated with IT projects and solutions.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends, and work with the business to explore how these can be leveraged for competitive advantage.
- d manage of operation budget/invest and capacities, efficient control of expenses across whole product/process life-cycle incl. contract management and payment.
Qualification and skills required for the position:
- Bachelor degree or above in Computer Science, Automation, Industrial Engineering or other similar majors.
- At least 8 years related working experience in IT
- IT Project Management experience with FIN domain is preferred
- 3-5 years experience managing product life cycles
- Good understanding of FIN business processes
- Solid international project management skill to manage cross functional team and suppliers
- Demonstrated communication & collaboration skills, and building & maintaining strong relationships with the relevant business teams.
- Strong conflict negotiation and achieving alignment skills.
- Technical background with knowledge of software development and web technologies
- Familiar with Agile or SAFe is a plus
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese, German is a plus
