Brief description of the position: 

Product Owner Pur role acts as the business partner for Pur domain as the IT first touch point. He/she will act as product owner to all Pur related products/projects to collect the requirements and provide with the best fit solutions by working closely with relevant stakeholders and internal product teams, and is accountable for full life-cycle of IT solutions/products in the Pur domain. 

Key Tasks:

1.Collaborate closely with Pur departments to gain a deep understanding of their business processes, pain points, future development plans, and potential improvements.

2. Act as Product Owner for Pur domain. Manage product life-cycle, from conceptual to deliver to launch, and make continuous improvement in line with overall portfolio strategy. 

3. Develop/communicate the product vision&roadmap to all relevant stakeholders, create/prioritize the product backlog, ensure team focuses on highest value features and meet cross-functional requirements 

4. Identify and understand business needs & pain points, conduct functional requirement analysis, model business and create requirements document. 

5. Collaborate with IT teams to develop and implement technology solutions that address identified business needs. 

6. Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of IT projects, ensuring they meet business requirements and deadlines. 

7. Provide training and ongoing support to business users to ensure they can effectively utilize new technology solutions. 

8. Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks associated with IT projects and solutions. 

9. Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends, and work with the business to explore how these can be leveraged for competitive advantage. 

10. Plan and manage of operation budget/invest and capacities, efficient control of expenses across whole product/process life-cycle incl. contract management and payment. 

Qualification and skills required for the position:

-Bachelor degree or above in Computer Science, Automation, Industrial Engineering or other similar majors.

- At least 8 years related working experience in IT

- IT Project Management experience with Pur domain is preferred

- 3-5 years experience managing product life cycles 

- Good understanding of Pur business processes

- Solid international project management skill to manage cross functional team and suppliers

- Demonstrated communication & collaboration skills, and building & maintaining strong relationships with the relevant business teams.

- Strong conflict negotiation and achieving alignment skills.

- Technical background with knowledge of software development and web technologies 

- Familiar with Agile or SAFe is a plus

- Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese, German is a plus
