Department Mission

• The position is aiming to deliver market competitive and customer satisfactory products by main activities of product design, product launch, product lifecycle improvement, last call of product prioritization decision. In this regard the position defines all customer relevant requirements , define use-stories, ensure a customer valuable execution/implementation of the requirements for market competitive offer. High focus is to drive market and customer requirements on engineering side and with internal process partners to ensure a holistic customer experience in ADAS field. 
• Design functions under consideration of vehicle architecture for Chinese market. This position assures that this product is competitive, compliant with Chinese laws, standards & regulations.
• As strong interface to Group product team incl. JVs FAW-VW, SVW and VWA. According to the VW Group strategy, C|GP gains an essential contribution for success of both brands ( VW, Audi) in VW Group.

Your Responsibilities (within 5 lines):

• Develops & Updates vision and roadmap of ADAS product, Monitor and steer the implementation of function E2E development and release the function from customer perspective incl. design Driving/Parking/Guard functions according to the market specific requirements.
• Create and break down high-level use-cases into epics and user stories as input for system engineering team
• Review and approve user interaction design with design and engineering teams
• Algin with relevant stakeholders on technical level
• Conduct design reviews with relevant components and sub-components
• Monitoring & Analyzing major competitors’ development in China and forecast industry trends and business impact for relevant fields of responsibility
• Competitor analysis of equivalent products in market

Required Qualification:

• Education:
  • Master’s degree on computer science,  electrical and automotive engineering or equivalent.

• Work Experience：
  • experience in automotive industry or related field for at least 5 years.

• Knowledge, skills and abilities

• • Technical Skills:

• Good knowledge of ADAS function relevant vehicle systems, sensor set (ultrasonic, camera, radar, LiDAR), electronic modules (ECUs), software components for automated driving
• Deep Knowledge in product design and function definition in ADAS area.
• Deep knowledge of vehicle connect service related technical area:

• In vehicle electric/electronic system basic
• Vehicle bus network basic knowledge
• Telecommunication basic

• Experience working in an Agile development environment (Jira, confluence)
• Strong sense in object-oriented and design pattern
• Software development quality methodologies such as design review, code review, continuous integration, regression testing and code/trace analysis would be helpful
• Capable to handle multi-interface interaction
• Proficiency in MS office (Excel, PPT, Project).
