Brief description of the position:

The position holder is responsible for the evaluation and approval of series changes (AeA & Series AWE)
He checks the content of the series changes on maturity, distributes them to related business units for evaluation and is doing a plausibility check of the evaluation results. Additionally he approves within the value limits and prepares decision documents for superior committees. 

 

Job Description:

  1. Leading the evaluation part within the process of series changes (AeA & series AWE) for "in China for China" projects
  2. Participation in pre-clarification meetings of upcoming series change requests
  3. Maturity check of new series change requests
  4. Owner of the AVON Postbox "P-Umlauf" and distribution of series change requests to the related business units
  5. Communication with related business units to clarify questions about the technical content to support the evaluation process
  6. Plausibility check of evaluation results from the related business units
  7. Lead the Product Team Serie as an official committee for AEA approval
  8. Preparation of documents for committee decisions
  9. Support in the reporting to EVP level for series changes related topics
  10. Status check on the implementation of series changes in the factories of the JVs

 

 

Qualification and skills required:

  1. Engineering and/or business management univ. degree
  2.  5+ yearsm,experience in at least one planning department or project steering unit
  3. Deep understanding of change management processes and interfaces
  4. Deep understanding of project processes according to the PEP
  5. Basic understanding of Volkswagen committees
  6. Basic understanding in financial and project controlling issues
  7. Basic experience in team coordination or steering
  8. Able to communicate effective on different levels – from shop-floor to top management
  9.  Analytical thinking
  10. Several years of project experience within product management or production planning
  11. networked in VW Group, able to fast network in region China with different stakeholder
