Brief description of the position:

Project Speaker FGS is VCTC-Y department vehicle project manager. He/She is leading the development activities in Y department. Responsible for Y scope project status, technical requests and change management, development time plan, budget management,release management, risk management and problem solving etc.  Working as a window to communicate with all other departments like EO/P/B/Q/PM etc.

Key Tasks:

• Lead the technical feasibility evaluation of the new projects and new product requests; Feedback the evaluation results to EO and PM.
• Make the development time plan of components and systems according to the VW PEP and development requirements, manage the professional team to finish the development work according to the time plan;
• Lead the TPB making of parts which belongs to Y scope, clarify the development scope of each projects.
• Estimate, declare, track and control project resources and costs based on project premise, lead the Job split and AWS negotiation with WOB and JVs.
  Approval and track the budget status according to budget release status.
• Control the technical changes of the projects (Aeko, AEA, project request, and modify point). Evaluate and approval Aekos in Fachteam meeting according to Aeko approval process.
• Control the project risks and solve the project problems; Organize the relevant error analysis and participant in the VCTC error round.
• Organize the VCTC Y internal project round and M sets fachteam meeting; Align the development status with all relevant departments.
• Prepare the materials for VCTC Y round,  PH meeting, TG meeting, PG meeting, VAP etc. and report in the meeting if necessary.
• Communicate as a window of Y department with internal R&D, marketing, finance, purchasing, quality assurance, logistics and other related external departments of WOB, JV to ensure the smooth project cooperation.
