The position as quality project management role takes the responsibility mainly on coordinating all VCTC Quality technical activities regarding planning/controlling based on the quality management plan along the development phase with scope on Life Cycle Management. He/She will represent the interests of the series in quality assurance, as well as resolving of conflict objectives by reaching consensus.

Key Tasks:

Define/align project-specific target and trace its fulfillment to ensure the achievement of the target in cooperation with the specialist departments and vehicle manufacturing plants

Define projects specification & requirements regarding quality related technical issues and ensure VW vehicle quality

Cross-departmental coordinate VCTC Q-activities in PEP to safe project quality and vehicle quality

Prepare & align the project status report and decision paper with correspondent managers or responsible EVP related to quality topics

Quality status/milestone evaluation with internal & external stakeholders regarding projects in PEP

Prepare the committees (e.g. series, PK, VAP, pilot hall, T-PPA, TG, product meetings, etc.) regarding vehicle project related to Q-topics and pre-align the materials with key stakeholders accordingly to make decision obtained on time

Perform as Q-representive throughout the projects to supervise the Q interests

Calculation & alignment of Q-related costs, such as investment, project launch & warranty cost, etc. of the projects

Represent VCTC quality assurance along the project development, solving objective conflicts to reach consensus

Coordinate quality evaluation of technical concept within the projects

Qualification and skills required for the position:

Diplom-Ingenieur/ Master/ Bachlor degree in the field of automotive engineering (engineering, mechanical/ industrial engineering, etc.) 

- Practical knowledge of international project management
- Experience of strategic planning projects

- Extended language skills English & Chinese, German desirable
- Cultural openness, strong teamwork & communication skills
- Presentation skills, with the ability convey complex informations to diverse stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and collaborative in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
