As part of simultaneous engineering work and as one of the first interfaces between quality assurance and new vehicle projects OE Quality Product Engineering is working in a preventive approach to minimize customer complains and to ensure the QA standards. 
Based on the technical expertise Quality Product Engineering is guaranteeing quality requirements, is leading all Q concept evaluations, is technically handling the customer complain estimation as a bases for warranty cost calculation and project maturity for each Fachteam.
For platform, especially for know how protected parts Quality Product Engineering is taking over the part responsibility including quality part release and failure elimination for the dedicated life cycle of the parts.   

Tasks:

Establish, develop and maintain the new OE Quality Product Engineering in VCTC

Initiating and controlling the implementation of the necessary measures and processes according to QMS requirements.

Establish QA cross functional teams (FG & SETs) to represent an independent QA during project phase to ensure customer satisfaction

Ensuring qualification (QPNi, Bemusterung,...) of buy parts for china specific modules, platform and know how protected parts within the dedicated lifecycle 

Ensuring VWAG quality supplier requirements in china specific modules, platform and know how protected parts

Assessing and ensuring technical concept evaluation (new concepts, cost reduction, optimization) from QA and customer perspective 

Introduction of new activities and processes in VCTC QA within the framework of Systems Engineering, Automotive Spice and FUSE and upcoming OEM cooperation

Responsible for the implementation of Q requirement management and Lessons Learned process  within VCTC QA

Reporting and escalation of Quality Product Engineering topics (e.g. deviation of Q requirements) in relevant cross-divisional and cross companies committees

Initiating measures to avoid and eliminate market-effective errors in coordination with other departments, the Group brands/regions for responsible scope

Responsibilities:

Ensuring compliance with the internal regulations and regulations relevant to the position, compliance and COP requirements as well as the QM system

Ensuring supplier qualification and failure elimination process (Bemusterung, QPNI, supplier escalation,...) for china specific modules, platform and know how protected parts  

Guarantee QA internal and/or customer related Lessons Learned and Q Requirement process in VCTC QA based on Systems Engineering and FUSE

Establish QA cross functional teams (Fachgruppen & SETs) to represent an independent QA during project phase for all related vehicles and to ensure the fulfilment of Q requirements 

Guarantee and ensure the qualification of employees for the defined tasks as well as ensuring the organizational and procedural optimization of the department.

Qualification and skills required for the position:

Education:A degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field

Working experience:professional(Several years of experience in leading and managing teams with strong leadership skills)

Knowledge, skills and others:

 Profound experience in first level people leadership (functionally and legally)
- Several years career experience in the quality assurance or development
- Profound experience in concept engineering and requirment Engineering
- Profound experience in Automotive SPICE and Systems Engineering
- Knowledge of automotive product development under functional safety and ISO26262 requirements
- Comprehensive experience in the field of project, risk, requirements, configuration/change supply management and also testing & validation
- Team player skills in a multi-site and diverse environment
- very goodEnglish skills a good command of German
