Brief description of the position:

• The range of tasks for this position consists the responsibility of conceptual, independent activities with a high degree of personal responsibility and supporting and assisting to the Head of EZS which inlcudes support of preparation of special topics regarding VCTC R&D , systematic analysis of strategic topics and support the BUs by operating these. This position act as an internal consultant

Key Tasks:

• Support in leading any kind of transformation in technical development together with the management level as well as the development of goals, visions and KPI sizes to be achieved through these transf
• Sparring partner for the management level in the implementation of a holistic strategic approach as well as technical and administrative management of tasks and sub-projects
• Carrying out projects for the definition and further development of the VCTC R&D strategy (in line with the Group development strategy and the VW PKW corporate strategy)
• Independently plan, conduct and follow up on working meetings, committee meetings and workshops, including preparation and follow-up
• Steering, assessment and evaluation of consulting services for consulting scopes within the scope of project assignments. Methodology experts for strategic working and empowerment of projects
• Create verbal and written reports or report sway for upper management and executives, briefing them on the results of the development projects regarding costs, chances and risks
• Preparation, updating and provision of (presentation) documents / data sets incl. their coordination. Contact person for subject areas
• Preparation of decision papers for the Head of EZS , the VCTC R&D management group and the VCTC CTO
• Ensuring timely escalation of target threats and reporting to Head of EZ, Head of EZS and in relevant committees for release of project content
• Ensure effective use of internal and external advisory capacities. Independently proposing and introducing new processes for internal quality assurance / measures / solution proposals / concepts

Qualification and skills required for the position:

Education:

• Bachelor or Master in engineering, automotive engineering, in Natural Sciences or similar.
• Language skills: German and/or English as well Chinese: fluent in speaking and writing

Working experience:

• Professional experience in an internationally oriented strategy devision or management consulting function in the automotive sector at least 3 years and good knowledge of the VW Group
