 Brief description of the position:

Responsible for the HVB release management. Support HVB System Engineering process, make sure all the technical targets for every development stages are fulfilled. Set up the release standards and process for the HVB projects, make documentation of the release report and supporting evidence. Responsible of the RCB meeting arrangement and release announcement. 

Key Tasks: 

  • Set up the HVB system release standards for suppliers to fullfill, including the maturity level release (L1/2/3/4) / (LA/LB/LC/LD), for each development phase. Align with HVB System Engineering responsible to clarify the criteria before each release announcement. 
  • Set up the HVB system release process for internally approval, including the SOP (Standard of Process) create, RCB meeting arrangement, pre-alignment with related shareholders (the uses of HVB, the internal/external partner of HVB development, the profession team of HVB development, the suppliers, the JVs etc.)
  • Acknowledge of the vehicle level's (FOs/car users/……) expectation/request of HVB performance at each development stage, based on the function list or development goals, and draft the functional restrictions based on the profession team's evaluation, confirm the restrictions according to the release process and announce the official release.  
  • Make documentation of every release report, and the supportive evidence to generate the conclusion in the release report. Familiar with the KPM system, DMS and KVS. Working as the centralization of HVB system development team, validation team, and users.
  • Familiar with the PEP of VW, know the main HVB system technology and the validation methods. Have good acknowledge of VW standards (e.g. VW 80303, VW 80000, PV 8450, PV 8550, PV 1209 etc.) and GB Standards(GB 38031 etc.) about the HVB System. 
  • Support HVB system engineering to create the technical requirement and the supplier's concept review before the release issued. Identify the  deviation/restrictions of each release and promote the development profession team to optimize them according to DCIA(Deviation analysis, Countermeasures, Impact analysis, Action plan).
  • Working closely with the team member, to promote the team target fulfilled, and make lessons-learned during the release process. 
  • Make work status report according to the project team or department leaders' request.
