Brief description of the OU / position / role 

As the single point of contact (SPOC) and steering interface for Audi 'in China for China' development projects, this position steers all energy system topics - including HV battery, LV, charging and DC/DC - for the Audi projects. Reporting directly to the department manager, the role coordinates and aligns all Audi CEA project-related matters in the field of energy system, secures achievement of project targets (scope, quality, cost, timing), and represents the energy system department towards Audi and internal stakeholders.

Tasks:

• Steering all energy system topics (HV battery, LV, charging, DC/DC) for the Audi CEA development projects and ensuring achievement of project targets.
• Acting as single point of contact for all Audi CEA project-related matters in the field of energy system, towards Audi and internal stakeholders.
• Coordination and alignment of energy system development topics across the involved teams, projects and functions.
• Definition and communication of project targets, requirements and framework conditions for the energy system scope of the Audi projects.
• Monitoring project progress, milestones and quality gates; assessment and evaluation of technical concepts, changes and deviations.
• Preparing and proposing decisions; convening and moderating the relevant project committees and steering rounds.
• Securing transparency and reporting towards management and program management, including escalation of critical topics.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable standards, policies and legal / environmental requirements within the area of responsibility.
• Driving continuous optimization of interface processes and project management methods for the Audi cooperation.

authorities:

• Decision-making authority on energy system topics and concepts within the Audi project scope, in alignment with the department manager.
• Authority to issue instructions to the project team in technical-organizational project matters within the defined Audi scope.
• Determination and proposal of project priorities, targets and resource needs for the energy system Audi scope.
• Right of veto and release or blocking of energy system deliverables and milestones for the Audi projects with regard to quality, cost and timing.
• Representation of the energy system department towards Audi and internal stakeholders within the defined project scope.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the results of the energy system scope in the Audi CEA projects in China (scope, quality, cost and timing).
• Responsible for the single-point-of-contact function and the interface quality towards Audi for all energy system topics.
• Professional responsibility for the assigned interface team 
• Responsible for transparency, reporting and timely escalation of critical project topics towards management.
• Responsible for compliance with applicable standards, policies and legal / environmental requirements within the area of responsibility.
