Brief description of the position:

This position is responsible to run the Risk Management, Internal Control System (ICS), and Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) programs within the VCTC Powerhouse. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining robust processes to ensure operational integrity, regulatory compliance and a safe working environment for all personnel. 

Key Tasks:

• Responsible to develop, implement, and maintain PowerHouse's risk management framework, risk mitigation strategies and action plans.
• Responsible to conduct regular risk assessments to identify, analyze, and evaluate operational, financial, strategic, and compliance risks and report in the Risk Radar system.
• Responsible to apply and fulfill the internal control framework in accordance with company policies and relevant standards (COSO).
• Responsible to identify control weaknesses and work with process owners to develop and implement corrective actions.
• Responsible to conduct regular internal EHS inspections, audits, and hazard assessments to identify and correct potential hazards.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees and contractors to promote a proactive safety culture.
• Maintain all required EHS documentation and records.
• Further Risk, ICS and EHS related activities that may arise during the course of these activities.
