岗位描述/Department Mission

  • The purpose and objective of C|GF is to develop functions, systems and technology (HW + SW + System) within the domain of ADAS/ ADAP Functions for the Chinese market. This position assures that this technology is competitive, compliant with Chinese laws, standards & regulations.
  • C|GF is responsible for planning and overseeing pre-development and series development activities of Driving/Parking/Guard technology for ADAS/ ADAP for CEA architectures used within the whole Volkswagen Group in China and is responsible for implementation. The objective is the development, integration, application, validation and release of these systems for the cars of the Volkswagen brands in China.
  • As a general SE expert of ADAS/AD projects, you are responsible both for strategical and operational tasks. You will participate and lead the entire technical development lifecycle, from customer requirement specification to system design, to solution implementation, till the release of the projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality, performance, safety and cost efficiency of systems.

主要职责/Your Responsibilities:

Technical key words:

  1. Identify requirements and define strategies
  • Identify "customers" and their needs: proactively research internal and external R&D teams, partners, and industry trends to pinpoint key pain points and future requirements in areas such as development processes, toolchains, and data loops.
  • Define Strategy and Portfolio: Based on business strategy and identified needs, plan the long-term roadmap and short-term implementation roadmap for the ADAS R&D support system (covering toolchains, processes, data infrastructure, CI/CD, etc.), and clarify priorities.
  1.  Collaboration with External Parties
  • Supplier and Partner Management: Evaluate, select, and manage key tool, platform, and service providers. Lead business negotiations, coordinate supplier activities, and oversee project progress and delivery quality in collaborative initiatives.
  • Cross-departmental collaboration: As the platform's representative, work closely with departments such as procurement, IT, and other relevant functions and resource providers to ensure the effective implementation of related plans
  1. End-to-end planning, delivery, and operational implementation
  • Develop an execution plan and roadmap: Translate the strategy into a specific program plan, create a phased and measurable release and deployment roadmap, and rationally allocate resources and time to ensure orderly value delivery.
  • Lead the entire project lifecycle management: oversee all relevant projects, take responsibility for scope, schedule, budget, and risk management, and drive the deployment of toolchains, process transformation, and platform launch.
  • Manage Release, Deployment, and Rollout: Systematically oversee the release and promotion plans for new tools and processes, driving team adoption through training, documentation, and pilot programs to ensure effective implementation.
  • Coordinate Resources and Drive Implementation: Effectively coordinate resources across teams such as software, algorithms, testing, and data to ensure project objectives are met.

  • Driving Continuous Optimization: Based on user feedback and business changes, lead the iterative optimization and continuous evolution of implemented systems to ensure their long-term viability.

岗位要求/Required Qualification:

  1. Solid technical expertise: Deep understanding of the full lifecycle of large-scale software development, with profound knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, data-driven development, and cloud-native technologies. Experience in ADAS/autonomous driving or complex system software development.
  2. Outstanding end-to-end delivery capability: Possess hands-on experience in successfully leading large-scale, cross-departmental technical platform or infrastructure projects through the entire lifecycle, from conceptual planning and development implementation to release operation and value validation.
  3. Outstanding Ecological Collaboration Capability: Extensive experience in supplier management, technology selection, and business coordination, along with excellent negotiation and partner relationship maintenance skills.
  4. Influence and Leadership: Exceptional cross-departmental communication, coordination, and influence, proficient in change management and program management, skilled in driving organizational adoption of new initiatives.
