Brief description of the position: 

“SQB“ is the first point of contact and initial advisor in VCTC-Y for the registration and preparation of APS topics. They provide methodological and organizational guidance and support centrally in the APS preliminary review, Including the export compliance management. This role also responsible for KVS management, including version security,compliance traceability and cross-domain collaboration

Key Tasks:

• Interface with Product Safety Committee (APS) and Regulation Department to report R&D safety and quality risks, major issues and compliance progress;
• Cooperate with Y(FGS/BTVs/TPLs) team to embed safety and quality requirements into the development process; Identify mandatory safety and quality items in laws, enterprise standards and customer requirements, and form a list of safety and quality requirements;
• Participate in supplier selection, review supplier's R&D capability, safety quality system and past project performance, and put forward suggestions on access/rejection of safety parts/key parts suppliers (such as e-drives and batteries).
•  Regularly review R&D problems and failure cases, and optimize design specifications, verification standards and control processes;
• Dock with the after-sales quality department, assist the R&D team to analyze the design problems in market failure and customer complaints, and promote design optimization, software upgrade and parts modificationc

• Responsible for creating, activating, disabling and canceling the accounts of employees and related supplier users in the department; Configure permissions based on role+project+parts+confidentiality level;
• Configure KVS core processes (data receipt review, change process, supplier data interaction process), and define approval nodes, countersignature roles, circulation rules and overtime warning.
• Responsible for supplier KVS access, supplier compliance monitoring and supplier data interactive support.
• Provide KVS operation training, establish KVS support channel, answer operation questions, handle abnormal problems and ensure smooth daily work.

Qualification and skills required for the position：

• Engineering Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering , Automotive Engineering, or Administration and Management
• Familiar with how to identify design safety and quality risks; 
• Understand and follow up new regulations, new technologies and new processes; 
• Understanding KVS management, familiar with vehicle and BEV systems and components(mainly HVB and E drive). 
• Deep understanding of automotive processes and systems. 
• Fluent English communication skills and German communication skills is preferred. 
• With good communication skills and team spirit. 
• VW System experience is preferred.
