Brief introduction of this position:
Responsible for full-process management of Airbag Controller & Sensors Development; Airbag Calibration Strategy Design & Test/FEM Verification; Crash Test Verification & Problem Closure; Planning and tracking development and tests time schedule Formulation of ACU technical specifications/document Compilation & Technical Precipitation.
Key tasks:
- Responsible for the system scheme design of Airbag Controller (ACU) and collision sensors, including core modules such as chip selection, sensor configuration, power management and diagnostic circuit design; lead the scheme review and technical control.
- Carry out product definition and requirement decomposition; based on the vehicle safety development objectives and market configuration requirements, convert system-level SSTS indicators into specific design parameters and functional requirements of the controller, and compile technical specifications and development plans.
- Lead the layout design and data verification of the controller, complete the output of core deliverables such as 3D data, 2D drawings and other deliveries, and coordinate to solve the matching conflicts with other vehicle components.
- Responsible for supplier technical management, including investigation and evaluation, R&D progress control, sample and mass production part approval; promote cost optimization and quality improvement to ensure supply chain stability.
- Formulate the airbag controller calibration matrix; design calibration schemes under different collision scenarios (frontal, side, rollover, etc.), occupant postures and load conditions, ensuring coverage of domestic and international regulatory requirements such as C-NCAP and others.
- Track vehicle crash tests and bench tests throughout the process, monitor sensor signal quality, evaluate the rationality of calibration parameters; ensure accurate airbag deployment in various scenarios through data iterative optimization, avoiding false deployment or delayed deployment.
- Process collision test data and build a simulation database; use software tools for parameter modeling and optimization, and complete calibration result confirmation and production line parameter release.
- Formulate DVP test verification plan; carry out controller unit test, system integration test and HIL test, covering core modules such as communication, diagnostic flashing and OTA function; track and solve technical problems in the test.
- Responsible for functional safety compliance work; follow the FuSa development process, participate in the compilation and update of FMEA, and ensure that the controller development process meets the requirements of functional safety standards.
- Formulation various documents such as calibration performance report, test analysis report and technical specification; organize and file the full-process data to ensure traceability of the development process.
Qualification and skills:
- Master degree in Mechanical, Electronic engineering, Automotive technology or related
- More than 3 years of working experience in development of Airbag ECU & Calibration
- Automotive E/E architecture and airbag ECU HW fundamentals
- Well-versed in airbag ECU Algo.and deployment strategies
- Familiar with CAN/LIN/Ethernet protocols and UDS diagnostic
- CATIA/CAD layout design; CANoe and diagnostic instruments
- Familiar with C-NCAP/E-NCAP safety regulation
- Familiar with Functional safety development process
- Familiar with Crash Test process for ECU Calibration
- Good English and Communication and Cooperation
