 Main goals and objectives:

The core mission as a ADAP Systems & Functions Testing engineer is responsible for the implementation & realization of ADAP functions for Volkswagen Group in China, ensuring a satisfying and attractive customer experience.

 

Your Responsibilities:

This position holds the responsibility for the described tasks for the VW Group and the brand Audi, CARIAD SE, JVs for the Chinese market. This position has to serve a large amount of interfaces within Volkswagen Group China, Headquarters in Germany as well as international suppliers in respective field of technology development of ADAS/ADAP/ICV.

• Systems/Customer functions & Software platform: test requirements, test concept of Automated Driving/Parking (AD/AP) systems designed for the Chinese market;

• Define technical test requirements for customer function/systems/software platforms and create test cases for integration of future automotive systems/platforms;

• Align with relevant stakeholders on technical level for systems realization and derive implications for complete system;

• Monitor and steer the implementation of testing, integration and validation for AD/AP systems together with our Chinese technology partner;

• Cascade targets and performance test requirements to supplier/s and partner/s and work to integrate them in vehicle systems;

• Analyze test results and supporting the error management

• Conduct test reviews with relevant components and sub-components;

• Engage with software and hardware engineers of the autonomous driving / parking /guard project team and external partners / suppliers.

 

Required Qualification:

• Education: This position requires a Master/ Bachelor degree in automotive, electrical, computer engineering or respective field.

• Work Experience: Experience in vehicle development in automotive industry or related field is required.

•Special Skills:

  • Good knowledge ofdevelopment of Driver Assistance / AutomatedDriving Functions on technical systems level (e. g. E/E architecture, sensor technology, data fusion, path planning, controls)
  • Good knowledge ofrequirements based testing, integration, validation andprocess
  • Knowledge of ISTQB, ISO29119, ASPICE preferred

•English language skill is required.

•German and Chinese language skills are beneficial.
