- Management of  "Product Definition&Software Dev." team by providing guidance,instruction, direction, coaching and leadership to the team members for the purpose of achieving department goals;
- Fulfill the complex Engineering IT demands in the Region China, across multiple, controlled entities and in alignment with Joint Ventures, specifically in Requirement and Architecture management", "Project and Error management", "Software Development Tool Chain"; and Ensure the alignment of local and central teams objectives, standards and policies.
- Align and resolve conflicts between regional solution demand and global restrictions from German Headquarter

Key Tasks:

1. Manage and lead the OU on strategical, financial, further development and business added value vision and mission. 
2. Determine application landscape by analyzing needs of VCTC R&D department; prioritizing implementation of the requirement. 
3. Manage, develop, optimize synergies to enhance and harmonize the quality of IT solutions
4. Provide guidance,instruction, direction, coaching and leadership to the team members for the purpose of achieving department goals 
5. Define and develop Synergies for "common shared" IT solution crossing Region China IT to provide comprehensive IT solution to business
6. Provide "end to end" IT solution and services to OU from Clarification, Arch, Implementation, Verification to AMS, whole life cycle management
7. Guidance and ensure OU to follow Region China IT strategy and compliant with Group policy and China Regulation during the project implementation

Qualification and skills:

Appointed Member of the Volkswagen Managment Circle (MK)
Bachelor or Master in computer science or equivalent
Additional master in business administration or business science would be an advantage

Mininum of 10 years working experience in VW group organization & professional experince in IT, professional in DevOps.
At least 8 years' experience in IT project management, R&D experience be adv.

IT Leadership experience in the Auto Industry,Regional leadership experience in the VW Group
Experience in IT Portfolio Management and Management of IT Budgets > 10 Mio. EUR
Experience in management partners to delivery the requested products, solutions and services
English fluent (spoken and written), German would be an advantage Inter-cultural competence & experience
Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skill in a multicultural environment
Personal and project leadership: managing risk and making decisions, conducting effective problem and conflict management, personnel development in inter-cultural environment
Ability to identify  business requirements, analyze group and define concepts to setup the sustainable IT products
DevOps or other IT development methodology is must.
