The position takes the roles of Q-Functional Responsible (Q-FV) supervising a customer function prioritied by means of criticality assessment; and Q-Function Implementation Manager (Q-FRV) evaluating a customer function at the level of technical implementation within VCTC QA. This position responsible for handling of fucntion-oriented topics addressed from VW Brand QA organizational units.
Key Tasks
Feedback on the criticality assessment of a customer (vehicle) function commissioned by the Q-HSV (Q Main System Representative) to ensure the same understanding of the results
Determine the maturity level in status report of the Q-Gates to ensure the deliverables fulfilled the requirements
Release of cluster C1 (Q function requirements are present in the artifacts of the eOE and Q checklist is met) to ensure the output quality from PD milestone
Participate in the release in the C4 cluster to ensure the output quality from PVS milestone
Conduct timely introduction of Q function requirements to stakeholders (as Q-FV role) includes requirements from Q-AL (Q protection run for the entire vehicle) and Q-GBS (Q-Safety of use prevention) to ensure the necessary requirements well informed
Evaluate artifacts for functional realization responsibility to ensure the functions could be well realized on-time as requested
Approve the functional realization to ensure the function fulfilled in previous step and grant the permit for the next step
Introduce Q function requests (as Q-FRV role) at the time of creating the TE function realization description to ensure the Q funcitions requirments are fully considered
Release the functions on-time to ensure the further development steps start follows the planned process;Release confirmation of a function implementation specification to allow the further implementation be started as the planned process
Qualification and skills
Completed technical studies or a comparable qualification
Min. 5 years working experience with System/Software Quality, System/Software Development process Audits, Software problem analysis (or similar) in medium to large (international) automotive QA org.
- Chinese and English in writing and conversation mandatory, German is preferable
- Knowledge of functional safety (ISO 26262) & software development process
- Technical understanding of networked customer vehicle functions (systems engineering)

- Excellent in effectively respond, verbally or written, to sensitive issues, complex inquiries or complaints.
