Brief description of the position:
Responsible for create and consolidate technical requirements for VW car based on automotive industry development, customer feedbacks and technical trend in China during the early phase of the development. Follow up the requirements implementation during the development phase to make sure the product is competitive and fulfill the customer requirements. 

 Key Tasks:

• Implement market and competitor analysis for the target segment, generate and create technical requirements from whole vehicle point of view.
• Coordinate the customer evaluation, support customer clinic for new technical concept in China, deliver and report the results to the top management and head quarter.
• Support and cooperate with Quality department, represent of R&D in the discussion of customer complains.
• Consolidate the product optimization recommendations and technical requirements for specific topics based on the results of market and competitive analysis and customer feedbacks, follow up with development departments for target setting and optimization implementation.
• Discuss and align the recommendations with relevant stakeholders in the region, and follow up with HQ.
• Analysis the HV battery RTM data of VW BEV models from whole vehicle perspective, and create product optimization recommendation accordingly.
• Main interface at TE for the customer data collection, steering and support JVs for the process establishment, coordinate the follow up discussion and solution creation within TE.
• Implement specific customer data analysis and create product optimization proposal for the Chinese market.

Qualification and skills required for the position:

• Engineering Bachelor Degree: Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial, Automotive, or similar.
• At least 3 years working experience in automotive industry.
• Profound knowledge of automotive industry.
• Excellent technical knowledge of whole vehicle testing and evaluation.
• Excellent skills of Microsoft office software, e.g. PowerPoint, Excel and so on.
• Overarching, cross functional & cross cultural management competencies.
• Highly skilled with efficient management of complex projects with many stakeholders.
• Customer oriented thinking.
• Languages: Fluently in English, German will be a plus.
