Brief description of this position:

Implement EREV and PHEV analysis for the competitor cars and make recommendations from competitor analysis point of view during project, implement parts level analysis on competitors during tear down with focus of EREV and PHEV powertrain component and architecture, generate concept and cost optimization ideas for the EREV and PHEV analysis in the region and generate analysis report.

Key tasks:

• Formulate EREV and PHEV analysis plan for competitor cars.
• Define the types of competitor cars for EREV and PHEV test
• Technical scouting for EREV and PHEV technology in the region and generate analysis report.
• Implement EREV and PHEV analysis for the competitor cars with R&D related professional departments
• Monitor and document the development trends of EREV and PHEV technology in the region
• Implement parts level analysis on competitors during tear down with focus of EREV and PHEV power train system
• Generate concept and cost, optimization ideas for EREV and PHEV.
• Hold permanent communication with the specialists in all related stake holders (VW WoB, Audi, Skoda…), to discuss requirements, result, etc.
• Organize meetings with other R&D departments to discuss the progress of EREV and PHEV analysis
• Participate in meetings with areas of R&D, VW WoB and other entities to get project information and then conduct related work

Qualifications:

• Master or Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or similar, depending on the responsibility of modules
• At least 3 years working experience in automotive industry
• Excellent technical knowledge of PHEV and EREV related working strategy, hardware concept, component structure.
• Excellent skills of Microsoft office software, e.g. PowerPoint, Excel and so on.
• High motivation and interest on NEV.
• Customer oriented thinking
• Driver license
• Languages: Fluently in English, German will be a plus
