Job Description: 

Key tasks:

  •  Planning timeline for system design team related milestones for the scope of responsibility    
  • Contribution to the achievement of the overall project targets
  • Responsible for the correctly, timely and cost effectively planning of all required PD(product design) project activities.
  • Supports the project manager regarding PD issues.
  • Contributes to the definition of the acquisition strategy and its implementation.
  • Creates and manages PD time schedule and ensures.
  • Defines required PD team (roles) and ensures participations in project core team meeting if required.
  • Defines PD system design team meetings.
  • Decides in the design reviews about the release of the product design.
  • Communicates with the customer with respect to technical details.   
  • Supports successful transition from development phase to industrialization/launch.
  • Proactively communicates all internal and external change requests (RfC) in project team meetings.
  • Coordinates to the vehicle integration test (in alignment with customer)
  • Monitoring progress (metrics over time) of PD work products
  • Decides about acceptance of customer product requirements, lessons learned and design rules.
  • Plans and coordinates the D-FMEA                                                                                                                                                                                                      

 

Qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in system requirements analysis and/or architectural design, preferably in the automotive industry.                                                                             
  • Knowledge of ISO 15504 (A-SPICE) standards and best practices.
