Brief description of the position:

• To lead and coordinate the whole plan for all R&D vehicles and bodies.

• To ensure the optimization of test objects to keep and reduce costs.

• To lead and manage all R&D test vehicles (including configuration, order, bauplan, handover) along the project milestones.

• To ensure the efficiency of the use of all test vehicle resources.

Key Tasks:

• Ensure comprehensive development processes and achievement of test vehicle management in region China projects regarding the whole life cycle testing vehicles from planning to scrapping for whole R&D.
• Define and implement test vehicle management process for whole R&D and to ensure the compliance of test vehicle use regarding test vehicle technical status and internal and external regulation fulfillment.
• Lead the vehicle demand collecting according to project definition(milestone, TPB etc.) for whole R&D .and Align with development partner in China for job split.
• Organize test vehicle team and steer vehicle demand plausibility check according to project definition with all R&D areas to meet both testing and project cost requirements.
• Plan the usage of test vehicle and Prepare document for approval of vehicle demands including PT/AGT/ pre-series vehicle quantity in committees, e.g., PSK, TG.
• Manage configuration, handover plan of all the R&D test vehicles and align with launch manager or VSC.
• Lead VTT(Versuchstraeger team),to manage, to control and to plan all pool vehicles of all R&D test vehicles according to the project status.
• Maintain vehicle data in TMS system and check and approve the application from users.
• Ensure project milestones of R&D test vehicles and bodies delivery on time and with the required quality for all R&D user’s.
• Support transportation process, such as commission, document prepare，support to make development costs of test vehicles plausible.

Qualifications and skills:

• Bachelor degree or above from Double First-Class University.
• Mechanical engineering, Automotive engineering or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
• At least 5 years in automotive industry, OEM/VW Group is preferable.
• At least 3 years in whole vehicle development, whole vehicle testing, PM or resource management is preferable.
• Vehicle professional knowledge (development / testing)
• Project management knowledge (time management / planning / monitoring)
• Deep understanding of automotive development processes and procedures
• Good presentation and communication skills
• Good skill for information sorting and analysis, good team player
• Good technical and business language skills in English (written and spoken)
• German is a plus.
