职位描述:
This position represents the key function for the Product Life Cycle Management (LCM) of Volkswagen Anhui Automotive Co., Ltd. It also acts as an interface between VW Group, the Volkswagen Group China, Volkswagen China Technology Company, DSSO and other Joint Ventures.
Key Tasks:
- This position will take responsibility for steering of product management by leading interdisciplinary project teams to assure the competitiveness of products over lifecycle (incl. PA and MP) with Lifecycle Management and Change Management process
- The Life Cycle Manager is responsible for product updates, thus gathers technical innovations, market-, functional-, strategical- and legal requirements to update and maintain Volkswagen Anhui’s product competitiveness together with all relevant business units
- Life Cycle Management is also the interface to the Digital Life Cycle Management (DLCM) and Early Phase Management.
- Project leadership in regard to the technique, the related costs and time to market based on the relevant PEP and to achieve the company’s targets for profit, volume and product compliance
- The position takes responsibility for the establishment of product management processes required for local development and localization of VW platform vehicles
- The position is also responsible for project management and implementation for specific strategic modules and functions of MEB, especially for the requirement from Chinese market (newly developed functional and innovative modules to fulfill the demand of customer worldwide incl. export ex. China).
- The holder of this position will prepare product related decisions such as Model Year frame decisions and Programmpunkt approval for products in Volkswagen Anhui. Thus, she/he will collect, check and validate the data which is the foundation for product related decisions in all circles such as PSK, BoM and Volkswagen Group VAPs.
- Definition, planning, management and tracking of all goals related to the assigned LCM projects across business units (product contents, product costs, estimation of product profitability, result of decision, time to market and quality) and issues (e.g. launch and risk management)
- Developing and bringing to decision mandatory milestones of LCM projects to the board of management / PSK / VAP. Leading all product related board of management / PSK / VAP mandatory decisions for assigned projects.
- Leading product teams and Life Cycle Workshops based on KPIs considering the customer needs, competitors and megatrends for Model Year projects and to include into new models, derivates and facelifts. Steering target reconciliations in technology, costs, schedule and budgets; decisions in case of conflicts across functions or business units.
Qualification and skills required for the position:
- Master in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, automotive engineering or business administration with focus on marketing or business development
- 5 years working experience, out of this at least 3 years in automotive industry including supplier industry in Product Management
- Deep understanding of automotive processes and procedures, familiar with Volkswagen Group organization, systems and processes
- Fluently in Chinese and English. Basic knowledge in German advantageous.
