Brief description of the position:

This position holds the responsibility of supporting CUPRA product management in all matters related to Product Management, for an assigned car project, manufactured by Volkswagen Anhui for CUPRA. For example, product expenditures, unit costs, supplier status, quality and timeline.

Key Tasks:

Support in managing the CUPRA project, manufactured by Volkswagen Anhui by:

• Coordinating Cross-functional activities to be done in VWA.
• Support the alignment with counterparts in VWA, in agreement with CUPRA responsible product manager.
• Analyze and align the product definition, requirements, properties and technical concept in regard to technique, timeline and financial profitability with special focus on inputs from VWA.

Coordinate and follow up the implementation of the product decision in VWA.

Coordinate the project in terms of:

• Ensure compliance especially with the rules for labor law, safety
• Align the OE with the other divisions
• Review on a regular basis internal process
• Implement and continuously improve methods/processes regarding the organization

Additional tasks may be assigned by the supervisor due to work necessities.

Qualification and skills:

Education:

• Master or bachelor’s in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, automotive engineering or business administration with focus on marketing or business development

Professional Experience:

• 3 years working experience, out of this at least 1 year in automotive industry including supplier industry in Product Management

Skills:

• Understanding of automotive processes and procedures, familiar with Volkswagen Group organization, systems and processes

Language:

• Fluently in Chinese and English. Basic knowledge in German or Spanish advantageous.
