Brief description of the OU / position / role:

Specialist in the Stamping Center area with experience in equipment management and  development. Coordinate for  all  sheet metal providing the Equipment Support, analyzing synergies and benchmark with VW group or market tendencies. To perform the new projects follow-up, starting in the early phase (Equipment launch), going through press line pre-buy-off at the supplier, operational handover and final acceptance, in order to assure the requirements for the production. Define the equipment maintenance plan, operational guidebook, TPM plan, try-out plan and ensure achievement of production and productivity KPI

Tasks:

Responsible for defining and developing new technologies in press shop areas, ensuring the competitiveness of the area according VW Group and market tendencies, and also develop aluminium process of equipment

To develop, control, monitor, assess and implement the maintenance parameters in the Stamping Shop , according to the overall Stamping Center requirements,  determine the maintenance cycles of the equipment in accordance with upstream demands, productivity and cost requirements of VW Anhui CPO and Stamping Center. 

To steer and implement the new product launches and model year changes.
Support the Stamping Center to implement the new press shop, assuring all needed resources to guarantee the project implementation. Ensure the timing, investment and quality during the new projects launching phase. 

To perform the new projects follow-up, starting in the early phase, going through the equipment  release, pre buy-off at the supplier, home line try-out and final acceptance, in order to assure the requirements for the production

Define the maintenance routines and plan the improvement, managing together with other peers the batch necessity and production requirements.

Define the manpower and resources to perform the quality and productivity improvements. 

Qualification and skills:

Bachelor’s degree or above, majored in material engineering, material forming, automobile manufacturing, mechanical engineering, business management or other related fields.

More than 10 years experience in press shop area, maintenance of equipment and new project development.

Expert knowledge in the field of press shop pressline and machines. 
Good knowledge about production structures, financial businesses models and processes.
Strong management and communication skills incl. the ability to consider and articulate different approaches.
Customer-oriented, translating trends and strategies into concepts.
Familiar with tools and processes for daily work.
Very good in communication, reporting and decision making.
Convincing, persuasiveness and goal oriented
Strong observation, active thinking, broad overall view and control ability.
Good language skills in English , Chinese and/or German.
