Brief description of the position:
The Manufacturing Cost Controlling bridges finance and manufacturing operations to oversee end-to-end factory cost management. This role covers manufacturing cost statistics, variance analysis, budget monitoring and continuous cost optimization. The incumbent will drive cost reduction, control operational expenses, and improve factory profitability and lean manufacturing cost management.
Key Tasks:
Responsible for daily, monthly and annual controlling of all manufacturing costs, including Indirect / direct labor cost, manufacturing overhead, energy consumption, workshop auxiliary materials and other expense items.
Prepare long-term & short-term financial plans for each car line: 10-year strategy plans, 5-year operation plans, annual budgets and monthly rolling forecasts. Deliver accurate regular reports on time.
Set financial and business targets to raise overall company value. Support business team to track performance with unified standards.
Conduct regular cost analysis on cost structure and budget/period variance,follow up cost optimization rectification and improvement results.
Monitor real-time budget execution and issue early warnings for over-budget items,analyze budget variance and adjust budget target dynamically.
Coordinate cross-departmentally to solve daily cost management issues, sort out cost documents and support internal & external audits.
Performing individual task-related duties in accordance with the knowledge and experience of the position holder.
Qualification and skills required for the position:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Automotive or related majors.
Working experience:
At least 1–3 years cost control experience in auto manufacturing
Knowledge, skills and others:
Familiar with financial work: planning, budgeting, rolling forecast, cost analysis and report
Skilled in SAP ERP and advanced Excel functions
English fluent spoken and written, German is a plus/favorable
