Brief description of the position:

The Module Cost Controller is responsible for the Material cost evaluation as well for the consolidation of all relevant inputs to evaluate all business cases and  Transfer price for the all the batteries produced by VWAC, including target definition for all cost position in order to achieved the defined profit for the batteries according to the VW group rules.

Key Tasks:

• Independent development of component targets values for module and battery  parts based on technical information and harmonization with R&D and purchasing department
• Independent conception of target values for all Business units and cost/revenue positions
• Preparation and harmonization of project decisions and cost estimations (e.g. benchmark workshops, Make-or-buy calculations)
• Creating of internal and external component benchmark analysis and special tasks to derive concrete actions for further cost optimizations
• Independent financial consultations for business units and financial project leaders
• Process optimizations and developing new ideas to further optimize financial results
• Business case evaluation for New Modules and Batteries
• Transfer price definition
• Performing individual task-related duties in accordance with the knowledge and experience of the position holder.

Qualification and skills:

• University degree in Engineering or similar, business/finance interest is a plus

Working experience:

• Professional working experience is a plus
