Brief description of the position:

Series controller is responsible for material cost controlling after SOP (series production phase), which is the biggest part of the cost. Therefore the tracking and control for MEK is crucial for VW-Anhui to reach the financial goal.

With the reports and standardized operation in SAP/MCM system, MEK controller can proactively seek for cost improvement area and advice BOM and relevant BU.

Key Tasks:

• Monthly Material Cost Report：Monthly monitoring the material cost by car model; comparison & Analysis between actual & plan value and forecast.
• Planning Round & Budget：Based on the planning round and budget premises given by VWAG and the historic data of the company, set up the material cost target for the whole company which includes, the localization schedule, production scrapping target.
• SAP Standard Cost Management: Maintaining the material master data (financial views and standard cost) in SAP system.
• Monthly Closing Material Cost SAP & MCM.
• FMK Report: Targeting for EKL(Purchasing performance), FMK report set up & monitoring.
• Monthly Closing Material Cost SAP& MCM.
• AeA evaluation (technical change after SOP).
• Calculating material cost for parts sales offer.
• Performing individual task-related duties in accordance with the knowledge and experience of the position holder.
• Advising other people holding positions at VCIC, its subsidiaries/associate companies, or cooperating organizations upon request and in consultation with the appropriate people responsible.

Qualification and skills required for the position:

Education:

University degree in Business & Finance or similar, technical interest is a plus.

Working experience: 

More than 3 years finance/controlling and/or material cost related working experience.

Knowledge, skills and others:

• Strong SAP skill in CO & MM module
• Microsoft Office applications (Excel and PowerPoint) expert High analytical and problem-solving skills.
• English on a professional level.
