Brief description of the position:
Ensure the fulfillment of the Quality Targets of the Purchased Parts in his scope of responsibility, both in dimensions and materials, functionality and reliability of use in the field. manage all the needed steps to obtain customer satisfaction with the purchased parts. Perform the process of qualification of purchased parts.
Key Tasks:
Assessment of components and initiation of measures to improve the pre-series. Ensure the maturity level of the purchased parts by following the VW QPNI
Execution of the sampling and Production Process Release (PPF) of the purchased parts, according to VDA-2
In his capacity as QA-SET representative and in the context of his cooperation in the VSC, he performs the tasks of "VSC/SET collaboration" function
Examination and grading of first samples (sampling of purchased parts) and/or engineering changes: - Initiation of dimensional incl. Cubing/Meisterbock, material and functional testing of first samples as well as assembly test - Gathering of the individual results and, if correct, granting the approval
Evaluation and conduct the release proposal of engineering change requests, parts modifications proposal and deviation permits.
Analysis and solution of purchased parts claims at the VW manufacturing line, conduct the FAP in cooperation with suppliers. Evaluate and release the corrective measures of purchased part complaints.
Improve supplier products and processes in order to achieve the quality targets. Audit the product at the supplier and at the VW manufacturing line, making sure that it is specification compliant and the manufacturing process and quality can be granted. Execution of technical revisions at suppliers
Processing of non-quality parts, and block the rejected materials, as well as clarification of the required parts or corresponding expenses. Assure that the parts assembled in the cars are according with the released standards
Develop proposals to improve the part concept, processes to improve the Quality with/at suppliers and pursuing the implementation of executed measures. L1/2/3 meetings according to the Critical Suppliers Program, incl. C-warning
Determination of the technical factors after analysis and organization of the corresponding meetings with suppliers
Qualification and skills required for the position:
Degree in Engineering or other higher technical education: Preferably in Mechanical or Vehicle
Minimum of 3 years in the Automobile Manufacturing in the areas of: Production, Product and/or after sales, Quality of Purchased Parts
Knowledge of quality methods: FMEA, QPN and 8D Emotional stability Communication and presentation skills High sense of responsibility Detail observer Solution promoter Capacity of Analysis Availability to travel
