Key tasks :
1. Develop AI application platforms and lightweight business systems based on production and operational needs to support the implementation of various AI scenarios.
2. Complete the integration of AI systems with various production equipment and core systems, connect production line data links, and achieve data service for production decision-making.
3. Responsible for interface development, system deployment, troubleshooting, and daily operation and maintenance.
4. Coordinate business department requirements, carry out AI solution design, prototype verification, and online testing.
5. Manage the bidding process. Comparison and acceptance of offers and suppliers (only technical aspects).
6. Track cutting-edge AI technologies and explore new application scenarios in conjunction with production operations.
7. Implementation of the necessary measures to comply with the legal requirements and VW standards regarding safety and environment.
Qualification and skills:
Personal skills:
- Understand how vision, LLMs, and Agents can enhance robotics; able to collaborate with AI Engineer.
- Proficient in at least one major robot brand.
- Maintain robot documentation and standard fault handling procedures
- Understand signal interaction and communication between PLC (Siemens, etc.) and robots (Profinet, EtherCAT)
- Have a strong sense of self-drive and responsibility, full of innovation consciousness, can give full play to the subjective initiative.
- Fluent in English, can be used as working language.
Working experience (in years):
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related fields
- 3+ years of robot programming and debugging experience in automotive manufacturing or industrial automation
- Experience with robot + vision or robot + AI projects is strongly preferred
