Brief description of the position:
The core mission of this position is to ensure safe and compliant logistics at VW Anhui through EHS management. Key responsibilities include setting safety standards, supervising implementation, organizing inspections and trainings, supporting audits, and monitoring safety KPIs. The role also covers equipment management, maintenance, technology upgrades, and plant access coordination.
Key Tasks:
1.Set, update and implement logistics safety standards and procedures.
2. Supervise safety implementation in departments and logistics service providers (LSPs).
3. Organize and conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and corrective measures.
4. Plan and deliver safety trainings for employees and LSPs.
5. Support internal and external audits, including preparation and follow-up of findings.
6. Monitor and drive improvement of safety KPIs.
7. Oversee equipment management and maintenance to ensure safe and reliable operations.
8. Support evaluation and application of new safety-related technologies.
9. Coordinate plant access for materials and personnel, ensuring compliance with regulations.
10. Perform other safety-related tasks as assigned by management to support business needs and continuous improvement.
Qualification and skills required for the position:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Logistics, or related field.
- 2–3 years in EHS or safety management, preferably in logistics or manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of EHS regulations, risk assessment, and audit procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and training skills.
- Structured work style and strong sense of responsibility.
- English as working language preferred.
