Brief description of the position:
Act as the central interface between the Logistics Department and Internal/External Demand Departments for all Pre-Series Sample Part requirements. Manage the end-to-end process from request receipt to ordering, confirming parts availability, and coordinate Sample Part activities to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
Key Tasks:
Act as the central coordinator for pre-series and series sample part requests from internal customers (VWA departments) and external customers (VCTC, CARIAD, SEAT).
Analyze and summarize customer demand information including, part numbers, descriptions, required quantities, requested delivery dates, and justification for submission.
Coordinate with warehouse personnel to verify availability of extra stock for sample parts.
Prepare and manage all related documentation, including the creation of a sales orders, quotations, budget code, and financial approvals.
Monitor the fulfilment of responsibilities by other departments and escalate issues when necessary.
Track delivery status to ensure sample parts are delivered to customers accurately and on time.
Manage SAP master data and resolve exchange issues.
Qualification and skills:
Bachelor's degree or above from a full-time varsity
For external recruits: A minimum of 2 years of professional experience within Logistics, or Disposition Department For internal recruits: experience in logistics related projects and processes
Proficient in English, German language skills are a plus, Strong command of Microsoft Office application, Working knowledge of SAP systems, Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively, Strong problem-solving skills-ability to identify and resolve issues promptly, Advanced data analysis skills - using data to assess demand, track progress, and support informed decision-making Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills, Effective time and task management abilities, Self-motivated, accountable, and able to work independently.
