Brief description of the position:
GMPV- Vehicle main system vehicle engineering work in FG and SET as P-responsible for platform production evaluation (digital & physical) , align and consolidate the product engineering towards relevant departments of R&D, provide, promote and escalate production demands regarding to platform and Electrical system to R&D and balance production and product requirements.
Key Tasks:
Powertrain system SET/FG as P-representative in pre-series phase
P&Q product concept related change management, including AEKO, AEA, SKD, AWE creation and tracking to implementation.
Zone powertrain product concept related topics, including issue analysis and alignment with P&Q, including benchmark, product change timing plan, business case.
Lead product evaluation regarding change requests out of CFT/concept FAP and other meetings, assist P&Q for decision making and escalation
As series product engineering work for VWA product management in series phase and MY phase for product and concept optimization & implementation.
Support to identify, verify, analyse and track product problems in pre-series stage, assist PCP and production department in escalating and solving product problems
Review the experience of product problems at the end of the project to avoid similar problems for the next generation of models;
Qualification and skills:
Bachelor degree in mechanical/automotive/technical engineering
At least 5 years automotive-related work experience in the areas of production, technical development, project management.
Familiar with development related applications (CATIA, etc.).
Sufficient working experience in international projects or abroad with strong intercultural competence.
Familiar with vehicle development process, vehicle manufacturing system, vehicle platform and Electrical system & buildability analysis.
Strong coordination, negotiation, communication and analytical skills.
Strategically and visionary thinking.
Professional business language skills in English (spoken and written).
