The Warehouse Foreman is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations. Key duties include ensuring inventory accuracy and consistency between physical stock and system records. The role involves workforce planning, shift scheduling, and blue-collar recruitment based on production plans. Additionally, the supervisor leads team training, enforces 6S and safety standards.
Job Responsibilities:
1.Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, kitting, issuing, and finished goods inbound/outbound management.. Strictly enforce the First-In-First-Out (FIFO) principle to ensure all materials are received and dispatched on time, in the correct quantity.
2.Monitor on-site operational status, promptly handle daily exceptions such as material discrepancies and equipment malfunctions, and escalate issues to upper management while tracking improvement actions.
3.Drive the implementation of 6S management (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety) across the warehouse floor. Rationally plan warehouse zones such as incoming inspection areas and non-conforming material holding areas, maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free environment.
4.Ensure the consistency and timeliness between actual physical inventory and system records for raw materials, finished goods, pre-series parts, and after-sales parts.
5.Supervise and provide guidance to the warehouse support team, including task assignment, shift scheduling, attendance management, and performance monitoring.
6.Foster a positive work environment, encourage teamwork, and provide coaching to support team development and stability.
7.Arrange employee shifts and manage blue-collar recruitment based on the production plan and Industrial Engineering (IE) point charts. Ensure Headcount Per Unit (HPU) meets established standards through effective workforce allocation.
8.Organize onboarding training, operational skill development, and safety training for warehouse staff. Lead the team in achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery rate and inventory accuracy rate.
Job Requirement:
1.Bachelor or above
2.Minimal 5 year experience in the field of logistic, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent practical experience.
Previous supervisory or people leadership experience preferred.
3.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
4.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively work with all levels of the organization.
5.Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage performance, and drive continuous improvement.
6.Languages skills: Chinese and English
