Electronic Function Responsible in GQ - Responsible to coordinate vehicle function validation test (software compound coordination/ validation planning/ execution/ error management). Clarifying technical details of electronic functions in the early phase to continuously design& maintain test cases, identify and diagnose issues in electrical systems, and work closely with R&D for solutions.

Key Tasks:

1. Coordinate with project team to clarify electronic project information (function list, SW compound plan), closely tracking status and update, proactively give statement from customer perspective if necessary.
2. Create and maintain vehicle SW validation plan, identify the scope of testing, determine the testing objectives, and define the test deliverables. This involves collaborating with stakeholders, understanding the project requirements, and allocating resources effectively.
3. Coordinate SW testers to conduct the validation activities, conduct SW validation tests in person (function testing, performance testing, static / dynamic), timely deliver test results and ensure early detection of failures.
4. Maintain test environment, such as test car and test benches, always ensure readiness of test resources in front of requested tests. Implement Automation test in bench/car.
5. Continuously design and maintain test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of all electronic functions, and cover customer usage scenarios. Update test cases as necessary to reflect changes in software versions and system requirements.
6. Coordinate test stakeholders in GQ (e.g. road test / PAZ / vehicle audit) for responsible functions related defect management of digital quality problems. Ensure that defects are properly logged, tracked, and escalated when necessary. Analyze defect data to identify trends and make recommendations for process improvements.
7. To establish and maintain digital quality requirement database, by lessons learned and customer behavior study. Proactively monitor in all project phases (Plan, Build, Run), that digital product and services fulfill the requested quality requirements.

Qualification and skills required for the position:

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or other higher technical education.
• Preferably in Software Engineering, Computer Science, vehicle engineering, etc. 
• Familiar with vehicle functions and function tests
• Familiar with vehicle diagnostic tools e.g. CANoe / ODIS 
• Fluent in English, desired also German.
