Job description:

• Performing cleanliness inspection on raw materials, intermediate products, and final cells. Review and evaluation on analysis report and, if necessary, initiate further analysis steps.
• Perform series monitoring on the cleanliness status of production device and shopfloor area, result analysis and report compilation, give optimized measures and suggestions when cleanliness issues happen.
• Management of the lab test equipment, including equipment file compilation, spare part, and consumables monitoring, making calibration and maintenance plan, SGK budget preparation
• Development of the cleanliness lab test method based on the client and project requirement
• Documentation of the cleanliness relative working instructions. Offer training to the lab technicians, record and document the training result. Compilation of the BC training plan and qualification matrix.
• Cooperation with colleagues from other departments, supporting the problem solving about raw material cleanliness issues
• Plan and implementation of the annually ring test for technical cleanliness with VW group and PowerCo lab nets
• Statistic the experiment results and summarize know-how. Transfer know-how to VWATD and VW colleagues and promote the sharing of resources within VW Group and PowerCo
• Participate in the formulation, writing, implementation, and optimization of the group cleanliness standards
• Participate in the preparation and follow-up of audits according to corporate standards
• Keep up with the development trend of the cleanliness test technology in battery cell industry, continuously improving laboratory cleanliness test capabilities to meet the needs of group projects

Qualification:

• Master degree or higher in analytical chemistry, material chemistry, mechanical engineering or comparable studies
• Knowledge of technical cleanliness; at least 2-years’ experience in cleanliness laboratory
• Knowledge of battery cell production, battery cell principle and main material.
• Knowledge of analytical instruments, principle, and application (FTIR, Jomesa Microscope, SEM-EDX,…)
• Good laboratory understanding, good communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent in English, German language skill will be considered as an advantage.
• Very good skills in MS Office
