Job description:

  1. Play a leadership role, responsible for cross departmental communication and coordination, ensuring the effective allocation and utilization of resources (funds, assets, personnel) among various departments of the battery project, and ensuring the achievement of project goals defined from the customer's perspective of each value stream.
  2. Lead and monitor the progress of each stage of the project from project initiation, promptly identify problems and propose solutions to ensure the achievement of the goals of the value stream.
  3. Analyze existing processes, identify bottlenecks and shortcomings, propose and lead process optimization, including developing new processes, developing implementation plans, monitoring the implementation process, evaluating optimization results, enhancing team's productivity and achieving an even shortening value creating flow.
  4. Regularly organize project meetings to study various issues, track the resolution of project meeting resolutions, and directly report the primary issues to the top manager when needed.
  5. Based on the Dalian model, we assist other power plants in preparing, implementing, and optimizing VSM systems for the battery all process through continuous communication and sharing of experiences and lessons learned.
  6. Planning production equipment processes and procedures (e.g. plants, equipment, workplaces, material flow technology, testing technology) as well as products for certain processes of battery cell as with consideration of initial situations and framework conditions (e.g. procedures or objectives regarding costs) based on ergonomic, technological and business knowledge. Work with internal and/or external partners in the process.
  7. Elaboration of the technical evaluation for the new project and technical changes with regard to machine and plant technology, tools and test equipment technology, project schedule and cost estimation.
  8. Creating technical specifications, preparing nomination decisions, working out schedules, proposing and justifying in-house and external production based on cost calculations. Developing target / actual comparisons in relation to the required capacities, presenting alternatives, setting up and modulate investment costs and processing time.
  9. Proposing, developing, presenting and coordinating planning concepts and/or projects for the specialized divisions, including their implementation, as well as controlling and ensuring of the specified measures.
    Assessing, designing and ensuring the application of new technologies, external and internal regulations and, if necessary, coordinating employees from technical perspective.
  10. Checking of the technical documents and constructive specifications for optimum feasibility, supplementing and correcting them if necessary. Proposing constructive changes and calculating savings. Introducing production requirements into TE concepts and ensure their implementation (SE work).
    Documentation of the manufacture processes, manufacture workflows (including machines, operating resources, workplaces, material flow technology) and products. Developing, introducing and monitoring rationalization measures, reduction of processing time, process improvements and evaluating results.
     

Qualification:

  • Education: Master degree or above
  • Working experience: Min. 4 years’ experience in automatic production equipment, Min 2 years’ experience in Battery production equipment, Experience on FAT/SAT is plus point.
  • Language skills: Fluent in English, German is plus point.
  • Personal Skills: Good communicator, conflict and problem-solving skills, self-confident manner, through thinking
  • IT Skills: very good skills in MS Office. CAD. Master knowledge of electric cars, E-drives and batteries are in benefit.
