Key tasks:

• Evaluating customer technical requirements and preparing commitments, including deviations.
• Deriving cell technical requirements from customer requirements.
• Communicating requirements and changing within the development team.
• Implementing change decisions per specifications and verifying successful execution.
• Reviewing and approving overall cell testing and validation results (DoEs, Task Forces, sample validation).
• Resolving technical and scheduling conflicts.
• Documenting, analyzing, assessing, assigning, and tracking issues.
• Supporting creation of FMEA and implement derived FMEA measures, including root cause analysis.
• Reviewing and approving cell releases, technical deep dives, and feasibility studies.
• Steering root cause analysis efforts and managing related actions.

Qualification and skills required for the position:

• MS degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Elecrtrochemistry or evidence of experience and exceptional ability,  Ph.D is a plus. 
• 3+ years of experience in industry in field of battery industry
• Knowledge in battery cell related development and production processes►
• Open and willingness to take high pressure
• Strong problem solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong negotiation skill to achieve WIN-WIN solutions with many stakeholders
• Coordination skills and assertion skills
• Able to communicate effective on different levels – from shop floor to top
• Self-motivated with the willingness to learn
• Business fluent in English; Chinese is a plus
