Key tasks: 

• Evaluating requirements from specifications and designing corresponding tests for battery cell mechanical components
• Creating and updating test schedules
• Creating of test descriptions on mechanical component level
• Collaborating with internal and external battery cell mechanical component development partners
• Documentation of project results
• Aligning test procedure on mechanical component level with suppliers according to LAH
• Developing and optimizing test methods and measurement methods for mechanical components
• Providing test results for TE-ratings, B-release, BMG-release according to Milestones
•  Providing recommendations for Releases of mechanical components

Qualification and skills required for the position:

• MS degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Elecrtrochemistry or evidence of experience and exceptional ability,  Ph.D is a plus. 
• 3+ years of experience in industry in field of battery industry
• Knowledge in battery cell related development and production processes►
• Open and willingness to take high pressure
• Strong problem solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong negotiation skill to achieve WIN-WIN solutions with many stakeholders
• Coordination skills and assertion skills
• Able to communicate effective on different levels – from shop floor to top
• Self-motivated with the willingness to learn
