Key tasks:

• Programming, commissioning, and maintaining PLCs for battery production process control and monitoring.
• Establishing and managing communication between production machines (PLCs, sensors, peripherals) and the MES.
• Maintaining the communication infrastructure linking production machines and the MES.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain and further develop the MES.
• Identifying and prioritizing process improvements and optimization opportunities with cross-functional teams.
• Troubleshooting and debugging PLCs to ensure reliable and efficient operation.
• Updating and maintaining technical documentation for PLCs.
• Identifying, extracting, cleaning, transforming, and structuring production data for analytics use.
• Designing and maintaining data pipelines to the central data platform while ensuring data quality, consistency, and documentation.
• Developing and maintaining dashboards and KPI reports, visualizing data with tools like Grafana or Power BI, and supporting data-driven optimization initiatives.

Qualification and skills required for the position:

• MS degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Elecrtrochemistry or evidence of experience and exceptional ability,  Ph.D is a plus. 
• 3+ years of experience in industry in field of battery industry
• Knowledge in battery cell related development and production processes►
