Key tasks:

• Coordinating the design of cell components and sub-components per battery cell requirements and specifications.
• Representing and aligning cell chemistry topics among relevant stakeholders.
• Breaking down of (overarching) targets to workstreams for SE Team and for component responsibilities.
• Managing execution, ensuring compliance with project specifications and designing of manufacturing.
• Coordinating SE Team to achieve targets and work stream and aligning with departments for team member qualification and capacity.
• Identifying and resolving target conflicts on team level.
• Creating transparency and monitoring SE Team KPIs.
• Moderating team meetings.
• Planning and coordinating supplier DOEs within the cell chemistry team.
• Planning, initiating, and oversee material DOEs during sample development.

Qualification and skills required for the position:

• MS degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Elecrtrochemistry or evidence of experience and exceptional ability,  Ph.D is a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in industry in field of battery industry
• Knowledge in battery cell related development and production processes
• Open and willingness to take high pressureStrong problem solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong negotiation skill to achieve WIN-WIN solutions with many stakeholders
• Coordination skills and assertion skills
• Able to communicate effective on different levels – from shop floor to top
• Self-motivated with the willingness to learn
• Business fluent in English; Chinese is a plus
