Key tasks:

• Planning, tracking, and escalating project targets for cost, demand, quality, function, performance, and cell characteristics.
• Securing documentation and preserving project results, technical requirements, and financial requirements.
• Ensuring, planning, and tracking the project budget while continuously monitoring outcomes.
• Documenting test/project results, approvals, and technical ratings throughout development.
• Escalating any deviations from the cell project's objectives promptly.
• Managing development, manufacturing, quality, and technology issues with PowerCo's global subsidiaries and customers.
• Ensuring each project development milestone is met per the overall plan and customer needs.
• Conducting functional daily management of the product development core team to meet performance targets.
• Coordinating and managing cell series development, components, and development tests—including planning, execution, and evaluation across departments.
• Reporting project status and escalation points to higher management, up to board level.

Qualification and skills required for the position:

• MS degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Elecrtrochemistry or evidence of experience and exceptional ability,  Ph.D is a plus. 
• 3+ years of experience in industry in field of battery industry
• Knowledge in battery cell related development and production processes►
• Open and willingness to take high pressure
• Strong problem solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong negotiation skill to achieve WIN-WIN solutions with many stakeholders
• Coordination skills and assertion skills
• Able to communicate effective on different levels – from shop floor to top
• Self-motivated with the willingness to learn
• Business fluent in English; Chinese is a plus
