Position Name: Value Stream Management

Key tasks and responsibilities:

• Responsible for cross-departmental coordination and end-to-end project management, delivering project milestones efficient communication and stakeholder alignment in coating area.
• Manage the full lifecycle of production equipment, covering technical evaluation, specification definition, procurement, FAT/SAT, installation, commissioning and final handover in coating area.
• Allocate cross-departmental resources including funds, assets and personnel, and guarantee on-time equipment delivery, formal acceptance and stable production ramp-up with technical problem solving.
• Arrange regular cross-functional meetings to track project progress, risks and pending issues, and escalate critical matters to senior management for prompt decision-making in coating area.
• Perform technical evaluation on new projects and equipment, compile TCO and cost-benefit analysis, and deliver data-driven suggestions to support investment and supplier selection decisions.
• Develop and update the overall project schedule, monitor timeline, cost and quality performance, and rectify deviations promptly to ensure projects stay on track in coating area.
• Drive process and equipment optimization, identify operational bottlenecks, and implement improvement plans to raise productivity, shorten cycle time and boost overall operational efficiency.
• Promote unified implementation of standards and best practices across POWERCO global sites to maintain consistent equipment performance and sustainable operational excellence in coating area.
• Compile and optimize process documents such as PFMEA, control plans and work instructions, support internal and external audits, and facilitate KVP continuous improvement activities.
• Study and introduce advanced coating area technologies and new equipment including semi-solid, solid-state and sodium-ion solutions to support factory strategic transformation and long-term develop.
• Performing individual task-related duties in accordance with the knowledge and experience of the position holder.
• Advising other people holding positions at VWATJ, its subsidiaries/associate companies, or cooperating organizations upon request and in consultation with the appropriate people responsible.

Qualification and skills:

• Bachelor / Master in Mechanical / Automotive / Electrical / Manufacturing Engineering.
• Min. 3-5 years working experience in battery cell coating area /equipment planning/Project management.
• Proficient in lithium battery industry knowledge in coating area and production standards.
• Proficient in Volkswagen project flow & equipment planning.
• Strong cross-departmental communication and coordination skills.
• Solid knowledge of FMEA, control plan and risk management.
• Basic business English communication capability.
• Skilled in office software, basic 2D/3D design tools.
• Familiar with standard value stream management procedures.
• Background in mechanical, electrical, measurement, laser or electro chemistry is a plus.
