CPI Purchasing Intern

Volkswagen Automatic Transmission (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. (“VWATJ”), a wholly owned subsidiary of Volkswagen Group, is the largest green-field transmission producer of the VW Group in China. Across two plants, we produce premium quality Double-clutch Gearbox (DSG) transmissions, hybrid transmissions and e-drives.

Job Title: CP | Purchasing Intern

Division/Department: Purchasing Department 

Location: Tianjin

Your Responsibilities:

• Communicate with other departments (quality assurance, logistics, finance, production planning) 
• Support for announcement and price negotiation
• Communicate with various locations in Germany (including VW AG) and international suppliers
• Prepare various evaluations, analyses and presentations for the management decisions
• Presentations preparation
• General support in daily operation

Your Qualifications:

• Majored in business administration, business engineering or related areas
• Communication skills, team spirit and flexibility  Creative and interested in complex tasks
• Independent and goal-oriented as well as high operational readiness
• Fluent in English or German
• Proficient in MS office
• Integrity and value-driven working style, compliant to rules and regulation.
• Remain accountable when mistake happens and be able to speak up if something goes wrong
• You are available for the internship for 5-6 months (full-time)
