TLL | Material Planning Digitalization Engineer

Volkswagen Automatic Transmission(Tianjin) Co., Ltd. (VWATJ), as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Volkswagen Group, is a large green-field transmission producer of the VW Group in China. Job Title: Material Planning Digitalization Engineer

Division/Department: Logistics

Location: Tianjin

Your Responsibilities:

1. Implement reporting platform in Power BI, build up proper KPIs to manage stock in reasonable level, found out optimize potentials
2. Material call-off to suppliers based on production plan, communicate with suppliers, program planners, packaging planners, quality Dep and other parties to ensure stable production 
3. Deal with critical materials and suppliers, with strong communication skill and negotiation skill, reach win-win situation even in difficult circumstance

Your Qualifications

1. At least 1 year experience in supply chain or supplier management area
2. Bachelor degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent practical experience.
3. Strong communication and social skills, high Emotional qualifications
4. Demonstrated collaboration skills with colleagues at all levels and across different business units
5. Demonstrated ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
6. Ability to present complex technical material to non-technical audiences in an approachable way
7. You have the knowledge of Power BI, Excel, PPT, RPA is plus
8. Ability to understand and communicate business relevance to management / leadership teams
9. Integrity and value-driven working style, compliant to rules and regulation
10. Remain accountable when mistake happens and be able to speak up if something goes wrong
