Job Description: 

MAIN GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

Representing AUDI AG and Audi China, C/VV (Sales Planning & Steering) is responsible and representive for Audi‘s sales performance in China region, incl. i) sales planning (both short term and long term), ii) overall JVs sales steering, iii) Premium Market (PM) business intelligence to assess and realize market risks & opportunities. This position ensures that actual sales performance, sales planning, market competition and PM trend are reported, analyzed and evaluated thoroughly to capture or mitigate any sales risks and ops.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS

 

  • Overall Reporting
    • Interface of monthly sales insight reporting for Audi (Audi China/Audi AG) as basis of sales planning and product planning input which incl. (market, segment change, discount, model performance, competitor analysis
    • Interface of all the sales, competitor volume and market insight/data in Audi to enable other business units’ daily operation (incl. finance, charging, network, PR etc.) 
    • Responsible for sales and market reporting to provide prompt and accurate information for relative department and management as basis of judgement for relative sales/product decision.

 

  • Committee Management
    •  Lead management committee preparation and management of timeline and task tracking (e.g. Audi China BoM/BoD, VCIC BOM, KVS, KVV, SH meetings, etc.)
    • Lead presentation/briefing/analysis preparation as intelligence center for delivering market and sales insight for management ad-hoc tasks and questions 

 

  • Sales Planning Coordination
    • Lead annual and monthly sales planning to conclude a total Audi volume planning including 2 brands and 5 entities
    • Lead premise and unified KPI defining to balance and promote a unified process and planning base for total Audi volume planning and delivery in China
    • Report to management and management of Joint venture on deputy of department head

 

  • Business Intelligence Tool Development
    • Lead in digital sales management tool establishment
    • Project lead incl. budget defining and lead IT requirements
    • Collect business requirements and maximize the system effect to support sales team daily planning and steering
    • Continuously improvement the UI/UX design and contents as intelligence center to ensure project quality and timeline

 

Necessary education:

  • Bachelor or Master degree
  • Major in Business Administration, Accounting, Commercial, etc.

 

Personal skills:

  • Strong presentation and reporting skill
  • Sharp with numbers and strong data analysis skill and pay attention to details
  • Strong logical thinking and strategic thinking
  • Ability to “connect the dots” with strong communication and personal skills Strong mindset with ability to work under pressure

 

Working experience (in years):

  • At least 5 years+ in automotive industry
  • Sales planning experience preferred

 

Remarks (Language, IT-Knowledge, Certificates etc.):

  • Proficient communication skills in English and Mandarin; German will be a plus; consulting background will be a plus
  • Advanced in MS office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); IT/data coding will be a plus
