MAIN GOALS AND OBJECTIVES Following the “in China, for China” group strategy and Audi China “360 Strategy” , more and more key features and heavy components of the CKD Car projects will be developed and industrialized in China. Aligned Job-split “Who develops makes Sourcing”, means Audi Sourcing of Audi Lead Items incl. Group Volume. |
- This position ensures Audi EU Volume combined with China volume (and Group volume) to maximize synergy as 100% entity of Audi AG. On one hand to maximize realization of Audi Purchasing strategy in Great China Region for CKD car projects; on the other hand to transfer China local potential (supply chain/ tooling/etc.) to Audi EU projects.
- The position requires solid knowledge of automotive branch, purchasing, automotive supplier structure in China and globally, and leads innovation development reflect premium requirements in CKD car projects, with HUT parts as key differentiators.
- The position requires good coordination and communication internally within Audi ING Purchasing and relevant departments; and externally with Joint ventures and also multiple suppliers.
- The position conducts coordination function at Management level for “P-Parts Sourcing” activities for COM BI & BX. Meanwhile coaching the local purchasing team to reach the purchasing strategy.
- In case of need, this position can be deputy of Head of Department C/BN to manage P-Parts sourcing/ Supplier Audit/ Project management business topics.
RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS - P-parts sourcing (Leading Function for NEV Company Sourcing)
- Coordinating and management of BI & BX sourcing activities in general:
- Coaching and Leading team LEB during forward sourcing process:
- Establish BDL and send out RFQ
- Finance target evaluation
- Offer Collection and cost analysis
- Organization of technical Meetings
- Request for TE/GQ/LOG/S Ratings
- Conduct commercial Negotiations
- Initiate Procurement Agreement and documentation
- Sourcing Committee Presentation preparation
- Present at Sourcing Committee
- Ensure Project SOP and purchasing performance for BI&BX
- Approve for Sourcing BDL and sourcing plan
- Define Sourcing Strategy and nomination proposal
- Align with ING and WOB Management for sourcing topics
- Commercial Negotiation with Supplier Top management level
- Decision of Readiness for Presenting at Sourcing Committees
- 1st Escalation path for sourcing activities BI&BX
- Internal Top Management Presentation and Briefings
- P-parts sourcing (Supporting Function for NEV company Sourcing)
- Coordinating and management of BI & BX sourcing activities in general:
- Coaching and Leading team LEB during forward sourcing process:

- Coordinating and management of BI & BX sourcing activities in general:

- Ensure China volume included in EU sourcings
- Provide China local BDL to ING LEBs
- Follow up with local suppliers for offer
- Support during technical Meetings
- Support for TE/GQ/LOG/S Ratings
- Support in commercial Negotiations
- Support for Procurement Agreement documentation
- Support on Sourcing Committee Presentation
- Ensure Synergy with bundling EU volume and CN volume to realize purchasing performance for BI&BX
- Process optimization to meet China specific requirements
- Define local purchasing strategy with alignment with IN and in conformity with global supplier/purchasing strategy
- Commercial Negotiation with Supplier Top management level
- 1st Escalation path for sourcing activities BI&BX
- Internal Top Management Presentation and Briefings
Necessary education: Master’s degree or above (major in automotive engineering, business / project management, economics preferred) Personal skills: - Skills of Managing Complexity

- Coordination skills within Intercultural context ( Western and Eastern cultures)

Working experience (in years): 8-10 years working experience in related areas Remarks (Language, IT-Knowledge, Certificates etc.): - Advanced English in reading, writing and speaking
- German language is preferred
- Solid knowledge in Excel and Power Point,IT system STAR, STAR Monitor, KVS(eNTI)
- Solid experience and knowledge for purchasing process and standards
