MAIN GOALS AND OBJECTIVES |
Data Management is the key role to ensure the test data usability, accessibility, security for OTA/KD-Flashhub. Through the implementation and fulfilment of data governance, data quality management, data lifecycle management, the main target is to enable the data-driven decision making for Flashhub daily operation as well as the LCM&DLCM action. |
RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS
Main tasks:
- Data Infrastructure: Establish and maintain databases for daily testing data.
- Data Modelling & Storage: Design, implement, and optimize analytical data models and storage solutions.
- Workflow Visualization: Implement Kanban boards to manage and visualize collected data workflows.
- Tool Development: Create and maintain custom programming tools for analysis and data pipeline development.
- Database Optimization: Manage, optimize, and tune database structures (tables, views) and SQL queries within data warehouses/ Lakehouse for peak performance.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with Data Analysts, Scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions.
- Pipeline Monitoring: Continuously monitor and optimize data pipelines and infrastructure for performance and cost-effectiveness.
Other tasks:
- Data Governance: support the establishment of policy, standards and ownership for OTA/GOB test data, especially in data cross-board transfer use case.
- User Enablement: lead the necessary training to data users to improve data accessibility and ensure data security.
- Efficient data lifecycle management: reduce cost and improve data usability for Flash-hub, where possible.
- Participation any data related conference, training on be-half of Flash-hub.
Necessary education:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related technical field.
Personal skills:
Highly motivated with initiative working attitude and a strong team player; must demonstrate a high degree of attention to quality, details, correctness and deadlines; good organizational as well as communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility; ability to be flexible and adapt to an ever-changing work environment.
Working experience (in years):
Minimum 3 year experience in data management; experience in automotive industry, especially in the field of vehicle development and testing is desired; cross-cultural competence is a plus.
Remarks (Language, IT-Knowledge, Certificates etc.):
Proficient MS Office knowledge; Strong proficiency in Python for data processing (Pandas, PySpark) and scripting; Expert SQL and Databank-related skills, including writing complex, optimized queries and performance tuning; Hands-on experience with databases; Motivated to work with data analysis and AI technologies; Mandarin (mother tongue or equivalent proficiency); good knowledge of English (business fluent); German is a plus.
