MAIN GOALS AND OBJECTIVES |

RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS
- Operational E/E Configuration Management
- a. Plan, create and maintain whole vehicle E/E baselines for development and validation milestones.
- b. Manage configuration items and ECU software versions throughout the vehicle development lifecycle.
- c. Ensure complete documentation, identification and traceability of all configuration artefacts.
- d. Coordinate baseline preparation, validation and release activities across vehicle projects.
- Software Version and Release Management
- a. Coordinate bi-weekly sprint releases and official software releases for whole vehicle integration.
- b. Maintain ECU software version control and release documentation within System42 and related systems.
- c. Verify software version consistency before release and ensure complete release readiness.
- d. Support software rollout planning for integration, testing and validation activities.
- Configuration Quality Assurance
- a. Verify completeness, consistency and maturity of E/E configuration data.
- b. Perform configuration checks before vehicle integration and software releases.
- c. Identify configuration conflicts and coordinate corrective actions with responsible stakeholders.
- d. Ensure compliance with configuration management processes and quality standards.
- Cross-functional Coordination
- a. Coordinate configuration management activities between development, testing, software integration and release management.
- b. Act as central contact for configuration-related topics during vehicle integration.
- c. Support problem analysis caused by software or configuration inconsistencies.
- d. Drive timely resolution of configuration issues impacting project milestones.
- Process and Tool Management
- a. Continuously improve E/E configuration management processes and workflows.
- b. Support optimization of System42 and related configuration management tools.
- c. Develop and maintain internal documentation, work instructions and best practices.
- d. Support digitalization and automation initiatives within configuration management.
Special Tasks
• Support implementation of new E/E configuration management methods and processes.
• Develop and maintain internal configuration management guidelines and documentation.
• Participate in pilot projects for process optimization and tool enhancement.
• Support digitalization and automation initiatives within Whole Vehicle Integration.
Necessary education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a comparable technical discipline.

Working experience (in years): At least 5 years of experience in automotive E/E development, configuration management, software release management or vehicle integration. Experience with cross-functional project coordination and whole vehicle development processes is preferred.
Remarks (Language, IT-Knowledge, Certificates etc.):
• Good knowledge of System42 or comparable configuration management systems.
• Familiarity with ECU software version management and vehicle E/E architectures.
• Proficient MS Office skills.
• Experience with automotive development and release processes is preferred.
• Business fluent English is mandatory.
• Mandarin is required.
• German language skills are considered an advantage.
