MAIN GOALS AND OBJECTIVES |
The error management position plays the key role to improve software quality, accelerate debugging and resolution, ensure the test reliability, enhance test coverage and eventually contribute to CICD for OTA/KD- Flashhub. These main goals shall be achieved via systematic error management, effective error logging and tracking, comprehensive error analysis and report. |
RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS
Main tasks:
- Daily Error Handling: Manage daily error resolution for FOs and LabCar Test control colleague
- Ticket Management: Generate, monitor, and ensure ticket quality (collaborating with external colleagues needed).
- Ticket Tracking & Reporting: Track ticket status and generate regular reports.
- Solution Facilitation: Drive and expedite solution finding for issues
- Testing Support: Support test teams in testing management (progress, repeatability, severity assessment, troubleshooting).
- Post-Rollout Monitoring: Monitor the status of OTA/KD packages after deployment.
Other tasks:
- Participation in ticket management meeting for information exchange.
- Collaborate with test infrastructure expert and data management colleague to improve the effectiveness of error management, including the historic record archive and documentation.
- Communicate and explain technical details and provide mitigation solution to JV partner on be-half of Flashhub, if possible.
Necessary education:
A minimum of bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or Communication Technology.
Personal skills:
Highly motivated with initiative working attitude and a strong team player; must demonstrate a high degree of attention to quality, details, correctness and deadlines; good organizational as well as communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility; ability to be flexible and adapt to an ever-changing work environment.
Working experience (in years):
Minimum 3 year experience in the automotive industry; experience in the field of vehicle development and testing desired; cross-cultural competence is a plus.
Remarks (Language, IT-Knowledge, Certificates etc.):
Proficient MS Office knowledge; Excellent communication skills; Highly motivated to understand a wide variety of topics and fields; Deep knowledge about Error management process and project management skills; Mandarin (mother tongue or equivalent proficiency); good knowledge of English (business fluent); German is a plus.
