MAIN GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
FBU sales operation & market intelligence incl. premium market research, competitor analysis, model performance analysis, sales planning (LAP, Budget, X+Y etc.) and FBU relevant sales reporting. We aim to capture market dynamics, explore sales opportunities, improve planning accuracy and optimize sales results. Take responsibility in FBU sales target achievement and define measures to maximize volume potential
RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS
- Market analysis:
- Analyzing impact of premium market forecast, especially by key competitors in PM for all segments
- Monitoring market development (e.g. government policies, local subsidies, competitor policies)
- Sales planning(responsible for FBU planning):
- Monthly volume planning and yearly budget planning for FBU models
- Responsible for forecasting sales landing based on market developments and daily FBU orders
- Responsible for FBU sales analyze and intelligence after monthly sales landing with clear insights to headquarter to understand the reason and plan
- Preparation, participation and follow up of all necessary alignment meetings regarding FBU sales volume with internal and external partners (JSM, STM, Sales jour fix etc.)
- Simulating scenarios and risk evaluation in case of supply shortage, stop order, price increase etc.
- Sales Steering:
- Monitoring daily sales trend and call for action towards Audi AG/Audi China/JV when sales not on track
- Responsible for sales risk evaluation, including tariff, stop order
- Responsible for stock and production steering in order to make sure a healthy FBU development for China region
- Proactively define measures of 360 degree and ensure implementation sales target achievement
- Consistently ensuring strategical higher positioning of FBU sales and FBU growth plan (C/D shift, Audi Sport, engine mix, etc.)
- Interface and alignments regarding FBU volume for other business units
- FBU sales update for wholesale reporting
- FBU sales update for CO2 steering and credit purchasing
- FBU sales data for emission report
- FBU sales update & alignment with finance and controlling
- Participation in discussion of future FBU business model, business development, FBU portfolio for a growth in FBU sales
- Make relevant information available for the sales division concerning production topics
- Reporting
- Prepare regular & ad-hoc (daily, weekly, monthly etc.) reports for management
- Fulfill meetings preparation requirements from Audi China, AUDI AG as well as VGC for FBU
- Support data consolidation and reporting in C/VV, regarding ad hoc report drafting and meeting preparation
- Supporting in specific model deep dive
Special Task: Upon demand and actual business needs
Necessary education:
Bachelor or Master degree
Major in Business Administration, Accounting, Commercial, etc.
Personal skills:
- Process oriented and results driven with holistic view
- Team Player with "Can Do" attitude
- Strong analytical capability and self-reflection; ability to pay attention to details
- Planning and well-organized
- Strong mindset with ability to work under pressure
Working experience (in years):
- At least 5 years in automotive industry
- At least 3 years’ sales planning/steering experience
Remarks (Language, IT-Knowledge, Certificates etc.):
- Proficient communication skills in English and Mandarin; German will be a plus
- Intermediate/Advanced in MS office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Skills in IT regarding coding and Python will be a plus
